Engineering Intern

Position Summary

Work with the SPS Distribution Planning engineers updating electric models, load flow analysis, and forecasting. Successful candidates will gain practical experience around planning a distribution system experiencing significant growth.

This Internship will be working out of Amarillo or Lubbock, TX and will be part-time during the school year starting January 2025. Potential to continue full-time during the summer months.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science.

• Must have taken a circuits course prior to being considered for an internship

• Strong verbal and written skills are preferred

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $20.70 to $30.10 per hour
