Military and Veterans

We offer on-the-job training through four-year apprenticeship programs, including Line, Substation, Gas and Energy Supply. It’s a great way to learn and earn on the job. Use your Post 9/11 GI Bill to supplement your income and housing during your apprenticeship, whether in a power plant or in the field.

Military Friendly Employer

Our veteran commitment has earned us Top Military Friendly Employer status from organizations such as Military Times, GI Jobs, and Xcel Energy is a proud partner of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
