Being an electrical line worker is a prestigious, physically demanding, critical job that requires extensive training. For this role, we look for people who are self-motivated, independent and disciplined. People who are ready to work hard and dedicate themselves to keeping the public safe and the lights on for their communities. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and a Class A Commercial Driver's License.

Are you good at fixing vehicles? Are you a dependable hard worker? Xcel Energy’s fleet mechanics keep all our trucks and heavy equipment running and in top shape. If you enjoy variety and are looking for a mechanic job with good pay and benefits, we want to talk to you. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a relevant two-year technical school degree and a Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
