Most of our internships have a specific focus, but our interns often get broader exposure to Xcel Energy’s business, insight into different areas of the company and the chance to explore a career in the energy industry. And with more than half of our workforce eligible to retire within the next 10 years, we’re always looking for bright new talent.

Most of our internships are full-time summer positions, but we also offer some part-time year-round co-op internships that can be set up to accommodate your class schedule.
