Associate IT Administrator - Print Management and Scanning Services Job

Position Summary

The Associate Systems Administrator participates in administering system maintenance and configuration based on work direction given by senior level team members for our Print Management and Scanning Services team. They act as a technical owner of the respective systems they are assigned. They are responsible for operation and maintenance of existing systems and/or infrastructure. They collaborate with users and technical teams to support incident resolution, systems monitoring, and problem analysis.


Essential Responsibilities

 

  • Operational Support – Install, modify, implement, document, and maintain system operating procedures and changes. Analyze physical infrastructure systems requirements and performance to optimize installations and future implementations.
  • Problem Management – Investigate and resolve production incidents and problems. Identify and resolve production alerts. Provide support for systems testing and validation activities. Participate in problem reviews.
  • Communications - Clearly and concisely communicate and record operational status whenever requested. Actively participate in status meetings. Prepare written status reports and responses to customer inquiries. Ensure records and other communications drive awareness and clarity to facts & risks.
  • User Support – Provides basic contextual and technical information to users, and assist users on problems. Advise users on available approved technologies.

 

 

Associate IT Systems Administrator | Salary: $58,000 - $82,666
Minimum Requirements

  • Two years of related functional experience.
  • Demonstrated strong technical acumen.
  • Experience and demonstrated discipline following protocol for operational support service tracking/ticketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and effectively apply learning.
  • Strong communication skills, effective with varying organizational levels and skill sets.
  • Strong Relationship Management and collaboration skills, with a track record of working as one team cross-organizationally to drive innovation and business results.
  • Progressive attitude that can work with a wide variety of personalities in many diverse, cross-functional groups

Preferred Experience

  • Complete familiarity with Windows 2016, 2019 Server OS’s and the Administrative Tools that come with it.

  • Troubleshooting issues with ports, firewalls, switches (for example: ARP cache).

  • Solid working understanding (and differences between) load-balancing, High Availability (HA). Fault Tolerance (FT), Fail-Over (FO) and resiliency

 

 

IT Systems Administrator | Salary: $66,000 - $93,666

Minimum Requirements 

  • Five years of related functional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Business or related field, or years experience equivalent to the position.
    • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience is also acceptable: Associate's Degree AND 8+ years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED AND 11+ years of experience.

  • Demonstrated strong business and technical acumen and aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of one or more core technologies (e.g. Servers, Hosting Platforms, Network Circuits, API's).
  • Detail oriented, with ability to demonstrate strong adherence to procedure and protocol for operational support service tracking/ticketing.
  • Strong communication skills, effective with varying organizational levels and skill sets Strong Relationship Management and collaboration skills, with a track record of working as one team cross-organizationally to drive innovation and business results.
  • Progressive attitude that can work with a wide variety of personalities in many diverse, cross-functional groups

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $58,000 to $82,666 per year
