Position Summary

Maintains overall operational supervision for the daily performance of the Enterprise Command Center (ECC). Responsible to effectively create, communicate and coordinate physical security system implementation of operations and monitoring. Communicates security standards and is responsible for developing ECC procedures and standards that ensure compliance with applicable federal regulations and internal procedures and requirements.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Supervises operations for monitoring and analysis of the ECC Tier 1 staff, maintaining procedures and workstreams to reduce security breaches to protect resources including systems, network and data. Operate a priority work order system to meet regulatory requirements and provide overall risk reduction for staff, assets and information. Work directly with security personnel and vendors for direct installation and repair of required security equipment to ensure external and internal requirements are met. Develop training as required for new processes and/or for areas where improvements are required. Conduct all training requirements to meet UL, CIP, and the client’s requirements.
  • Supervises the learning environment to ensure knowledge is maintained on security programs and documentation. Ensures learning by asking questions and probing all useful sources of information. Identify the needs for cross-functional teams to assure that the solutions and plans meet changing business needs, customer expectations and regulatory compliance. Work directly with external vendors to ensure preventive maintenance and repairs are completed within regulatory requirement timeframes. Ensure schedules are drafted, reviewed and posted while maintaining required staffing hours and represent all time off requests. Delegate tasks and projects to Analysts ensuring all security requirements are met. Ensure all compliance measures are followed and properly documented.
  • Supervises the functionality of ECC applications while ensuring coordination for any reported or observed issues. Work with all shift staff to assist with any troubleshooting actions and or communications to resolve issues. Develop training as required for new processes and/or for areas where improvements are required. Ensure all training requirements to meet UL, CIP, and company learning management systems are met.
  • Ensure schedules are drafted, reviewed and posted while maintaining required staffing hours and represent all time off requests. Delegate tasks and projects to the Analysts ensuring all security requirements are met. Ensure all compliance measures are followed and properly documented. Stay abreast of industry and technology trends and best practices to advise leadership and direct teams on security approaches. Maintain updated modifications to ECC Post Orders, Operating Procedures and training programs.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in an operations center environment either in cyber, physical security or all hazards.
  • Three years management experience in a fast paced and highly diverse environment.
  • Ability to meet and maintain any applicable licensing or certification requirements.
  • 3-5 years of industrial security experience in a corporate environment.
  • Must have written and verbal communication and presentation skills that include the ability to interface with others.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet situational demands.
  • Position is subject to 24-hour on-call status and response.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $72,100 to $102,433 per year
