Position Summary

Responsible for the financial and operational vitality of the Gas Transportation business of PSCo and WestGas InterState (WGI) pipeline. Directing the overall activities for the development of marketing/sales plans, contracts and customer relationships that maximize earnings for gas transportation customers of PSCo, and WGIBalance Operator Performance, Financial Performance and Risk Management for the benefit of all stakeholders. Position the Business Unit to maximize and grow the value of the assets in a changing and competitive environment. 

 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Retain and acquire new gas transportation customers by directing the development of creative solutions to meet customer needs and successfully compete with alternative service providers while optimizing value.

  • Accountable for Natural Gas Services activities related to policy and procedures for administration of tariff and contractual requirements for all gas transportation customers. Direct the development, maintenance and enhancement of Information Technology Systems for the management of gas flow and electronic communication with customers.

  • Integrate corporate polices, priorities and objectives in the creation of products and services, selling of services, development of tariffs, increased utilization of gas delivery system and risk management.

  • Envision and develop strategic direction and policy to provide customer, investor and employee satisfaction.   

  • Develops leadership, selects and retains a multi-functional, diversified, well-trained, motivated, and empowered workforce. Models innovative approaches. Promotes employee involvement in continuous learning, career planning, and enhancing job/industry knowledge and skills.

 

 Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Eight years of natural gas industry experience including 3 years of management experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of gas system operation, resource asset evaluation ability to evaluate customer requests, natural gas and finance/accounting principles, and demonstrated negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

  •  In depth knowledge of PSCo, WGI tariffs and CPUC, WPSC and FERC regulations. 

 

This position requires a behavioral assessment prior to being considered for an interview.
