Senior Supply Chain Analyst Job

Position Summary
Provide expertise in understanding business objectives, questions and problems, and in analyzing and presenting data to address issues within end to end Supply Chain processes. Support management in developing/analyzing business solutions/processes, and in employing technology improvements where applicable. Develop benchmarking and reporting data to ensure consistent processes are followed. Develop and conduct. Position may have a concentration in specific business areas, processes and systems. This Sr. Supply Chain Analyst will provide knowledge, expertise and user support in the SAP Ariba System. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting/resolving SAP Ariba eSourcing administrative activities, and ensuring the flow of information between SAP Ariba and the ERP system. Fundamental understanding of the overall Sourcin/Procurement process will be needed. Experience with system administration in SAP and SAP Ariba is strongly preferred. This position can be filled in Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN.  

During COVID-19 Pandemic this position may require the ability to temporarily work remote within the company service territory until company protocol dictates return to the office criteria has been met. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Customer/System Support: Perform in-depth research on complex audit questions, software systems, and/or transactional problems. Provide customer service support by assisting as a technical and informational resource in order to resolve questions/issues.
  • Analysis/Reporting: Develop and/or modify reports and reporting solutions. Effectively prioritize requirements. Utilize report writing tools to create reports from various data sources to monitor key performance and process metrics, exceptions, budgets, etc. Perform and present analysis to identify and proactively communicate trends, root causes, performance issues, etc. Ensure optimal data collection/accuracy and database development.
  • Program/System Administration: Understand design and configuration of complex systems, and evaluate implications of any changes for the business. Develop/maintain documentation and templates. Facilitate interaction with business areas, I/T and vendors while ensuring proper procedures are followed. Troubleshoot technical problems, develop test scripts, setup users in the systems, and coordinate with impacted business areas.
  • Process/System Documentation/Training: Lead communication and training efforts associated with Supply Chain processes and systems. Lead efforts to identify design gaps and ensure policies and process/procedure documentation are current and well-organized.
  • Project/Program Management: Utilize work flow tools to determine process and performance gaps. Lead cross functional teams in driving process improvement efforts that help exceed key success factors. Develop and implement project plans, communicate milestones, obstacles, and progress, and deliver within project timelines and budget.
  • Auditing: Lead and direct work efforts associated with Supply Chain audits. Maintain proper documentation (contracts, internal, external, SOX) for compliance and timely reporting. Develop and monitor control points to ensure compliance with established policies and processes, and drive remediation efforts.
  • Mentoring: Mentor and coach Associate Analysts and Analysts in reporting/analytics, project management, and other responsibilities.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience; AND
  • 5 years of experience in relevant supply chain field or business planning/consulting; AND
  • 1+ year experience in leading projects and pursuing PMP certification.
  • Excellent customer/communication skills. Must be approachable, flexible, customer focused, self-motivated, results and team-oriented.
  • Learns new tasks, tools, systems, and processes and develops skills quickly.

 

Preferred Requirements

 

  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • 3 years of experience in designing/developing reports using tools such as Brio, Business Objects, MS Word, Visio/Microsoft Project, and/or JD.
  • Demonstrated advanced-level experience using MS Excel and Access.
  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) technical knowledge.
  • Experience in technical system testing practices and process.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $62,700 to $89,033 per year
