Supply Chain Intern (Henderson, CO) Job

During COVID-19 Pandemic this position may require the ability to temporarily work remote within the company service territory until company protocol dictates return to the office criteria has been met.

Once allowed back to the office, the intern will work at Materials Distribution Center, 9580 Hwy 85, Henderson, CO, 80640. Applicants must be able to commute to the worksite within a reasonable amount of time. 

Expected start date: March 2021

Summary:

Position assists, as necessary, experienced supply chain staff with support to achieve productivity and process improvement goals, including ensuring effective use of e-sourcing tools used for supplier management, assessments, sourcing events, PO creation and management. This position will expose the candidate to all areas of supply chain including sourcing, purchasing, materials management, contracting, risk management and customer/supplier relationships. The internship will start immediately, continue through summer 2021, and has the potential to continue for several months.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a masters or 4-year undergraduate degree from an accredited university
• Preferred Junior, Senior (expected graduation Decemeber 2021), and graduate students preferred.
• Majoring in supply chain, finance, mathematics, statistics, or business related field
• Excels at analysis of busienss metric and critical thinking
• Strong business acumen
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Able to work full time in the summer and part time in the school year
• Candidates within commuting distance of Henderson, Colorado

Preferred Skills:

• Supply Chain majors preferred
• SAP and Business Objects preferred

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $16.80 - $17.90 per hour
