HR Intern - Talent Management (Sophomore, Junior or Senior) Job

Position Summary

This Talent Management internship focuses on leadership development at Xcel Energy. In this role, you will support the creation, tracking, logistics, and overall execution of various leadership development programs, courses, resources, and tools.
 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinate leadership development programs and courses, including items such as virtual classroom logistics, communication, course evaluations, and participant registrations.
  • Create checklists and job aids for program and course facilitators. Create annual leadership development calendar.
  • Serve as administrator for the learning management system (LMS). Manage permissions and assignments. Answer systems-related questions.
  • Supply usage reports to vendors and administer vendor portal sites.
  • Manage leadership resources as needed by curating the videos, articles, and other resources. Update existing SharePoint sites with these materials.
  • Support regular reporting for leadership development programs and courses.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Leadership or similar
  • Ability to think critically, provide a great customer experience, and be a self-starter
  • Detail orientated with excellent written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
     

Preferred Qualifications

  • Within reasonable commuting distance of Minneapolis, MN
  • Ability to continue internship part-time during the academic year if requested

 

This position requires a behavioral assessment prior to being considered for an interview.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $15.30 per hour - $17.90
