Position Summary
Sustainment Framework Position. Partners with senior leaders across the enterprise to drive integrated process and technology improvements. Accountable for the integrity of business processes, data, and systems within a defined enterprise scope area. Regularly measures process effectiveness, efficiency, and adherence, and approves remedial action plans in collaboration with business integration consulting resources and leaders at the BU and enterprise levels. Establishes the strategic direction and implements continuous improvement activities and opportunities that extend across multiple processes and business areas. Accountable for budgeting, resourcing, and benefits realization for all aligned improvement and enhancement programs. The identified candidate will need to have a strong understanding of financials.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Business Integration: Serves as the enterprise owner and integration lead for processes, data, reports, and/or applications within a defined process area. Owns enterprise communication around improvement opportunities and enhancements that affect multiple business areas and/or organizational entities.
  • Demand Management & Prioritization: Develops and maintains a roadmap of continuous improvement derived from a collaborative planning and prioritization process with the business, IT, and other PG&P Directors. Evaluates demand and aligns to an enterprise list of investments to be designed/deployed across one or more business areas.
  • Program Management: Leads the effective design and implementation of all projects on the transformational roadmap that align to designated process area. Manages projects throughout lifecycle, controls scope, and ensures key requirements are met and target benefits are realized. Provides strategic work direction to business integration consulting teams. Understands and drives integrations with other initiatives; clearly defines critical hand-offs.
  • Talent Management: Recruits, leads, develops, trains, and engages team of high performing integration consultants. Participates in workforce and talent planning with other IC organizations. Demonstrates collaborative leadership in a matrixed organization.
  • Performance Management: Accountable for overall process effectiveness, efficiency, and adherence across business areas, and associated remedial action plans to correct course when needed. Accountable for realization of benefits associated with improvement initiatives.
  • Role & Process Governance: Maintains the integrity of all business processes, data, and systems within a defined enterprise process scope area. Governs complete and accurate role & process design documentation, performance measures, reports, and training materials. Serves as final approver for all associated changes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Finance, and Information Systems, and/or equivalent experience; CPA/MBA preferred
  • At least ten years’ experience in disciplines including, large scale portfolio/program management with ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements
  • Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities, proven ability to influence in matrix environment
  • Significant broad business and process knowledge to influence and drive enterprise process initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective strategic messages and achieve business and operational performance measures
  • Demonstrated understanding of core business processes, industry trends, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of core business processes, industry trends, etc.



  • Gas and/or Electric Utility Industry experience
  • Knowledge or experience with SAP or Oracle
