Email Channel Manager Job

Manage all company email outreach while bringing the Xcel Energy brand to life through email marketing. Manage all aspects of the portfolio's marketing mix, communications, training, and support needs. Drive effectiveness of product delivery and customer satisfaction.


  • Responsible for supporting the company’s market vision; develop plans and status to support organizational needs and product goals. Oversee and ensure all channel strategies support corporate goals and exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement all aspects of channel responsibilities: content development, planning, execution, process development and implementation, best practices, partner management, reporting and analytics, life-cycle planning and vision for future. Manage all aspects of daily channel issues across segments to meet goals. Provide work direction to achieve goals.
  • Track the progress of the channel against target business objectives across the organization. Ensure campaigns are being implemented within set policies and requirements (specific for each state).
  • Drive and champion recommendations to channel team of new technologies available. Ensure product content and experience are consistent and accurate.


  • College degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Four years of experience in marketing, product management or product development is required.
  • Minimum 5 years digital marketing experience strongly preferred.
  • Team and peer leadership with excellent communications and copywriting skills and proven results.
  • HTML/Design capabilities preferred.
  • Salesforce/Marketing Cloud experience preferred. 
  • Analytical, able to translate complex data into actionable/profitable marketing plans.
  • Previous experience as an email marketing manager preferred.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $77,000 to $109,666 per year
