Sr. Audit Consultant Job

Essential Responsibilities
Audit company assets, expenses, revenues, accounting, security, operating controls, and compliance; perform and provide assistance on audits of specialized and technical areas for evaluating internal control systems and the effectiveness and efficiency of operations; assess organizational risk, regulatory compliance, and internal control structure; provide consultative and innovative services to business areas upon request; develop and maintain relationships with audit clients; serve as primary day-to-day audit contact with audit client management; apply internal control concepts and auditing concepts and principles to business audits; participate in risk assessment processes for technology, cloud computing, cybersecurity, information management and protection, data privacy, and program/project management led by Audit Manager; ensure audit plans cover higher risks identified for specialized area; develop the project risk assessment, audit objectives, scope, and audit program for all audits; support staff members and audit contractors on significant issues pertaining to specialized area being audited, providing them with technical expertise and guidance to ensure audit objectives and scope are satisfied. Domestic travel up to 20%.
Minimum Requ
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related field and 8 years of progressive experience as an auditor or occupation in auditing.
- Must have 8 years of experience in a combination of any of the following: auditing assets, expenses, revenues, accounting, security, operating controls, and compliance; assessing organizational risk, regulatory compliance, and internal control structure; conducting audits in technology, cloud computing, cyber security, information management and protection, data privacy, and program/project management.
- Must possess a CPA, CIA, or CISA professional credential.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $96,500 to $123,160 per year
