Project Description:

Substation Construction is looking for an intern to support our field crews and office staff. Daily tasks will include the use of Microsoft Excel, ProjectWise and SAP. This position will help our team focus on pre-construction readiness along with supporting current projects. Our department is responsible for executing a very large work portfolio utilizing both internal and contracted personnel. We hope to teach the successful candidate the processes and procedures needed to be successful with constructing a substation.

(Starting pay is based on Freshman college level and will increase each additional year of college)

Minimum Requirements:

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, and other related field from an ABET accredited school
• Ability to navigate computer programs (Excel,Word,ProjectWise,SAP)
• Understanding of Construction Operations
• Coursework relating to electrical theory
• Ability to read and understand bill of materials

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $18.80 per hour
