Position Summary
This is an entry level engineering analyst position. Individuals in this position perform engineering activities in support of the safe, reliable and efficient operation of the nuclear generation power plants. This includes routine work in the preparation and review of engineering products, such as evaluations, reports, procedure changes, licensing submittals, engineering program revisions and resolution of corrective action issues. In the performance of tasks, the individual applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria, under supervision, to complete assigned tasks.

Essential Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of technical evaluations, technical reports, procedure changes, licensing submittals, engineering program revisions and resolution of corrective actions.
• Develop schedules, utilize work management tools, and perform assignments for engineering related activities to support site and fleet goals. Perform other duties as assigned.
• Attend department and plant meetings and industry/fleet activities. Attend Training.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned by department leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Aossociate’s degree from a two year college or technical school or equivalent on the job experience or training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain qualifications for unescorted access to Xcel Energy’s nuclear power plants.
• Preferred:
• SRO license or certification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years engineering experience in nuclear generating plant operations and/or maintenance processes, or relevant industry or military experience.

Additional years of experience will be required for advanced placement.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $66,000 to $109,667 per year
