Position Summary


This role will oversee workforce analytics initiatives, develop data-driven strategies, and partner with key stakeholders and COEs to enhance decision-making and support business strategies. The role will lead and perform data validity, metrics creation, trend identification, exception reporting, gap forecasting, benchmark comparisons, and visual analytics to model, analyze, and report financial and operational results.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a workforce analytics strategy aligned to the enterprise strategies and HR goals and objectives.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of reports, dashboards, and predictive models to support workforce analytics trends and decision-making.  
  • Utilize statistical techniques, machine learning, predictive analytics, and data visualization tools to uncover trends and insights.  
  • Partner with HR leaders and COEs to understand workforce challenges and provide data-driven solutions.  
  • Translate complex data findings into clear and translative recommendations for non-technical audiences.  
  • Provide continuous improvement exercises on data analytics tools and advise on new technology and resources that will support positive and centralized user experiences.
  • Manage workforce and people data, analytics and reporting for the enterprise. 
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with HR and corporate policies and procedures; develop data governance standards with changing and new technology solutions to ensure data protection and integrity are maintained.
  • Work closely with HR Technology and IT teams to implement optimize data sources and improve data accessibility.  
  • Champion data governance and drive improvements in HR data quality.  
  • Benchmark, leverage and maintain ongoing awareness of best practices in Human Resources. Conduct and lead research on emerging long-term workforce trends (labor supply, economic, education, technology, energy and environmental policy, political climate, societal) that will have implications to the Company's future success. Respond to external requests for workforce data for benchmarking and other reports and surveys.
  • Lead and mentor a team of entry- and mid-level professionals, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and innovation.  
  • Guide the team on preparation of workforce reports and analytics to executive management. Ensure the workforce count is tracked and that data is turned into meaningful information that can be utilized by the company to understand its current and potential workforce issues. Create automated reports that can be easily accessed by consultants for basic data requests. Support cyclical processes that require data and reporting support.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in people analytics.  
  • Provide training and best practices on workforce analytics to HR partners.  

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, data science, statistics, or related field or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent related work/education experience.
  • 7+ years of of business experience in workforce analytics, people analytics, or HR data analysis in large, complex organization, with at least 4 years of leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics platforms and technology tools.
  • Demonstrated experience and success leading enterprise projects.
  • Strong experience with HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle) and workforce data.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear, actionable manner.  
  • Advanced analytical, consulting, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational, writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across boundaries, disciplines, and levels within the organization.
  • Experience with software programs and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experienced with Internet navigation techniques.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $109,500.00 to $155,500.00 per year
