Principal HR Project Analyst

Position Summary
Oversees the planning and implementation of HR initiatives and processes. Leads and coordinates diverse, multi-disciplinary HR projects including process improvement, technology upgrades and compliance requirements. Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to resolve issues and ensure project goals are met. Manage the project plans, resources, and relationships with other HR, IT, and other vendor partners to implement system and process solutions that meet business needs and align with strategic priorities. Proactively lead opportunities to improve HR service delivery with focus on compliance, efficiency, service and productivity.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead HR projects related to the exploration, design, development and implementation of HR systems and upgrades. Integrate new systems with existing core HR technology. Establish and communicate metrics that measure progress and evaluate results. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously within cope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
- Proactively lead opportunities to refine, expand and improve the service delivery provided by HR. Focus is on compliance, efficiency, service and productivity. Drive process changes and technical/system solutions to support new or changing business initiatives.
- Identify, develop and implement solutions and process improvement projects that support business needs, improve service and align with company priorities. Solve complex problems using innovative approaches and new perspective on existing solutions. Track industry trends and recommend best practices. Mentor and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Partner with systems-focused project teams and work groups as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and maximize productivity and service of existing and new work streams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Business, HR or related field (or equivalent combination of education and related experience).
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Six years of related work experience.
- Strong analytical, project management, and project leadership skills.
- Aptitude for fact-based problem solving and developing workable solutions. Strong ability to collaborate effectively and build consensus.
- Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to partner with others to deliver results and to effectively communicate strategy and project findings in written and verbal formats.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Ability to define business requirements and deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Proven self-starter, able to work independently.
- Preferred experience: consulting, 6SIGMA certification, knowledge of HR business functions.

Non-Bargaining
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $82,800.00 to $117,600.00 per year
