Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting Project Engineers with work order / purchase requisition creation, in-servicing / completing projects, requesting master data for new projects, processing Journal Entries and being the liaison between Project Controls and Supply Chain, Business Area Accounting, Capital Asset Accounting and Business Area Finance for capital projects. Coordinates with project stakeholders to ensure we have correct and accurate data for completing requests.

Essential Responsibilities

SAP

  • Generate Work Orders and convert them to Purchase Requisitions and Non-Work Order Purchase Requisitions - Ensuring the information being forwarded to Supply Chain is accurate and complete

  • Ensuring the Unit Estimate is submitted to PowerPlan in order to submit in-service / completion requests to Capital Asset Accounting via MDO - this includes ensuring the data is correct and we are providing Capital Asset Accounting with accurate information

MDO (Master Data Online)

  • Submit Project In-Service, Completion, Suspension and Extension Requests

  • Submit requests for Project Master Data

Other Responsibilities

  • Monitor various reports to ensure we are resolving issues in a timely manner

  • Providing quality customer service to our Project Engineers

  • Ensuring requests are processed in a timely manner

  • Ensuring submission of data to Business Unit Partners is Accurate and Complete

Systems / Applications utilized - no experience necessary

  • SharePoint

Minimum Requirements

Associates degree in engineering, construction, finance, or related field or three (3) years of relevant experience with the use of scheduling software or cost control tools. Practical knowledge and experience in overall project scheduling and reporting methods. Detailed knowledge of project planning and execution methods and practices. Comprehensive understanding of company policies, procedures and financial obligations that would apply to projects. Expert in standard server software applications such as e-mail, spreadsheet, word processing, database, as well as scheduling applications.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $62,500.00 to $88,766.00 per year
