Position Summary


Plans, manages, and implements Learning technology business solutions in a fast-paced environment within the Human Capital Management (HCM) environment and product team. Provides technical direction to internal and external groups in accordance with learning technology capability and business objectives. Consults with business and HR unit leaders to identify and fulfill learning requirements and integrations with other HR systems. Experience with various enterprise learning platforms, especially the SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System and Workday as an HCM solution.

Essential Responsibilities

  • With moderate guidance, supports, maintains, and develops learning technologies for aligned workstreams, with a particular emphasis on Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Experience Platforms (LXP), Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS), and other learning support systems. Identifies intersections with other workstreams and/or teams and engages stakeholders to execute technology projects and plans. Interacts with business and HR unit leaders/SMEs and internal customers to determine requirements and project objectives. Identifies gaps and resolves. Presents system-level solutions that add value to the business area.
  • Maintain roadmap for all learning software platforms and workstreams; manage release process for push and opt-in feature enhancements. Keep abreast of technology, industry, and business trends to ensure that appropriate technologies are being considered in the planning process that meet organizational requirements and enhance engagement and measurable learning outcomes.
  • Maintain and evolve system configurations; conduct audits to ensure accuracy and efficacy of business processes; investigate and troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, research, test, and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to super users and support staff, and serve as an advisor to team members, content developers, enterprise learning leadership, HR Leadership, various other platform owners, IT, and business unit decision makers on technical decision points and solution adoption. Support development and maintenance of system training and communications materials.
  • Ensure data integrity in all learning systems by performing thorough testing of data loads and identification of intersections with other workstreams, technologies, and integrations including data connections to upstream and downstream technologies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for reports and integration related needs, enhancements, and escalations, including liaison with IT and the larger HCM product team as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related fields (Information Technology, Educational Technology, Software Engineering, Learning Technologies, IT Systems Design) and a minimum of 6 years’ experience supporting various enterprise learning technologies in a SaaS environment.
  • In-depth understanding of how all HCM technologies, especially learning platforms, can be used and applied to the business.
  • Knowledge of technologies & standards such as Learning Platforms (SuccessFactors Learning, Blackboard, Degreed, Moodle), Standards (SCORM 1.2/2004, xAPI, AICC, CMI5), Integrations (SAML, OAuth, HRIS connectors, LTI tools), Data Tools (PRD, OData, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Excel), and Other (XML, JSON, CSV, browser and desktop developer tools, SCORM Cloud, Section 508/WCAG).
  • Experience in managing changes in technology, business case creating, and ROI analysis sourcing and vendor relations.
  • Experience in documenting business processes and integration for deployment.
  • Experience in consultive partnerships with various stakeholders.
  • Effective project management skills, including the ability to track status of deliverables, navigate the complexity of competing priorities and simultaneous initiatives, and to provide timely updates to stakeholders and drive progress.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting working relationships and collaborate across disparate groups.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $84,900.00 to $120,566.66 per year
