Sr Director, Transformation Readiness

Position Summary 


We are seeking a dynamic (Sr) Director of Transformation Business Readiness for Customer Information System (CIS) program, accountable for enterprise-level business readiness, governance and integration for transformational change.  This role is crucial in ensuring that change management, talent and operating model development, communications, process integration, and training are effectively planned, strategically directed and executed to support the organization's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business readiness, change management, and process integration, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments to achieve business and technological objectives. This role is responsible for coordinating a holistic strategy across all business functions involved in the transformation, influencing across executive levels and driving alignment with the broader Transformation PMO (TPMO) governance while managing strategic vendor partners.


Essential Responsibilities 

  • Enterprise Governance: Establish and manage governance frameworks that align transformation program delivery with TPMO standards, including reporting, metrics and decision-making protocols.
  • Change Management:  Set direction and oversee the design and execution of change management strategies that drive adoption and minimize resistance to transformational initiatives and are in line with enterprise frameworks
  • Talent and Operating Model Development: Design and implement talent strategies and operating models that enable the organization's strategic goals and support the transformation for the life cycle of the program, from preliminary planning to post deployment stabilization.
  • Operational Assurance: Provide governance and oversight of operational assurance, ensuring risk management, control and performance monitoring are embedded across business functions. Drive alignment of assurance activities to safeguard operational continuity during and after the program deployment.
  • Communications: Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the transformation process while ensuring alignment with enterprise communications team
  • Process Integration: Coordinate the integration of new processes and systems across business functions to ensure seamless operation and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Training: Develop and deliver training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the transformed organization.
  • Business Integrator (BI) Management: Provide governance and leadership of the BI partnership to ensure deliverables and integrated, pragmatic and sustainable for the organization. Balance BI methodologies with internal capacity, ensuring change management, training and communication outputs enable adoption rather than overwhelm business teams. Hold BI accountable to TPMO standards, driving alignment with enterprise transformation objectives and meeting delivery expectations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in business readiness, change management, or process integration in a business/functional context.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise governance and strategic vendor partners in large-scale transformation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering successful business readiness initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Process and change management certifications are preferred (e.g., Prosci Change Management Practitioner, Certified Change Management Professional [CCMP], Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or equivalent process improvement or organizational change certification)

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $166,500.00 to $271,400.00 per year
