Position Summary:
The Renewable Operation Center Analyst plays a vital role on the Renewable Operation Center team. Primary responsibilities include creating and presenting a daily morning report to support on-site and ROC operations, performing quantitative analysis to drive proactive work management, utilizing advanced and predictive analysis to recommend adjustments to site maintenance schedules, designing visual and interactive dashboards for the ROC to identify performance trends, and acting as a liaison between operations and engineering teams.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Daily collaboration with ROC Operators, onsite operations, engineering, IT support teams, transmission, and remote renewable operations leadership to drive performance improvement by identifying, building, and implementing technical efficiencies.
- Responsible for leading data software service initiatives to ensure XE Renewable Operations is positioned to deliver both accurate and timely reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support onsite operations, remote operations and renewable operations leadership through daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc advanced analytics reporting.
- Identify and implement technical improvements to ROC processes and procedures.
- Identify potential operational risks through analytics, escalate concerns, and implement process improvements to mitigate economic loss or safety risks.
- Support the ROC with future renewable growth through database architecture, local plant SCADA testing, and report development.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data science, economics, engineering, finance, mathematics or related fields.
- Minimum 4-year experience in operating mathematical models, data mining, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of wind, solar, and battery design.
- Ability to support after-hour renewable operations during heightened operating conditions.
- Full-time onsite position.
Preferred Requirements
- Prefer previous work experience in renewable operations.
- Demonstrate strong technical skills with ability to learn Microsoft Excel, Python, Java, VBA, SQL, R, PowerBI, renewable plant SCADA Systems, and network/communication systems to identify plant interconnectivity issues.

Non-Bargaining
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $95,200.00 to $135,200.00 per year
